Apply Now for roles at easyJet – What are you waiting for?!

Pilot Recruitment Process

Depending on which airline you’re currently flying for, joining easyJet could be a big lifestyle change. As we’re short haul, there’s lots of variety, quick turnarounds, short flights and sometimes multiple take-offs and landings in a single day. There will be lots of fun, great crew to work with and plenty of rewards and new challenges to look forward to.

Our minimum requirements vary between Captain and Co Pilot roles so be sure to check these before you apply. You are required to be currently operating and as well as holding the minimum requirements as detailed on our job descriptions.

Application Process

  • Online Application

If you meet the minimum requirements, you can submit an online application simply by entering your details, uploading your CV and completing a series of questions.

  • Online Test

If you’re applying as a Co Pilot, we’ll send you a link to a series of online ability tests to assess your verbal and numerical reasoning skills. There are opportunities to complete practice questions before completing the real thing.

  • Application Review

Once your application has reached this stage, we will take a look at your details and verify that you meet our minimum requirements and have answered all of our online questions fully. If it meets everything we are looking for, we’ll invite you to the next available Assessment Centre.

  • Non-Technical Assessments

We invite up to 12 pilots to join us at a time to our non-technical assessments. You will see some informative presentations on the day – we’ll let you know about the contracts, what you can expect from joining easyJet and we’ll answer any questions you have. You’ll take part in some group exercises, so we can see how well you work and interact as part of a team. You will also have the opportunity for a competency-based interview in the afternoon where we will take a closer look at the non-technical skills you’ll need to join our pilot team.

  • Technical Assessment

You will complete a simulator assessment to give us the opportunity to see your technical standard of flying. We will give you a full briefing to help you prepare.

  • Online Testing For Captains

If you are applying as a Captain you will be required to complete one final stage. We will send a link which comprises of an online psychometric questionnaire. Once this is completed it will be followed up by a video interview.
