Our Culture, Vision & Values

easyJet comes with a strong and distinct culture. One that we’re really proud of. We set out to do it our way, to be individual and unique rather than copy others. And we hope it shows.

It all starts with a very flat hierarchy, which eliminates unnecessary layers of management – and gives us a human touch you can feel right across the organisation, encouraging a ‘one team’ approach to delivery whether on board an aircraft or in an office, supporting our goal to keep costs low and our value of ‘simplicity’. We even encourage our central support people to dress casually, to be themselves and not hide behind a suit and tie. In fact, we’ve banned ties! Our crew and pilots wear our issue uniform, specifically designed by crew for our crew!

We have no offices. Our working spaces are open plan, encouraging an open culture, allowing us all to work together, and enabling us to share our experiences and support each other – with a little bit of fun and enjoyment added in. Of course we have to work hard, but this is one of the most exciting, progressive and enjoyable environments you could wish to do it in.

Our vision is simple – to be Europe’s preferred short-haul airline, delivering market-leading returns, and making travel easy and affordable for all. It’s a vision that we – and all of our people – are working towards every day. We’ve already made giant leaps to get where we are, but there’s still work to be done.
