Fuel your
career, Engineers.

Make it easyJet.

MAINTAIN THE ORANGE STANDARD

You won’t be able to keep your hands off our fleet . You’ll keep us flying sky high across Europe and make sure every aircraft is ready to go, every time.

Our Engineering teams work across a whole range of areas and specialisms – which opens up a world of opportunities once you’re here. But whichever role you choose, you’ll soon realise that innovation is the fuel that flies us. New tech, consistent safety, and always improving efficiency. In fact, we have the highest technical reliability of any Airbus fleet in the world. Our work means fewer delays and lower prices for everyone travelling with us. It doesn’t get much bigger than this.

To keep things running smoothly, you’ll need plenty of Orange Spirit. It’s the can-do, got-your-back, everyone’s-welcome attitude that sets us apart.

ENGINEERING SPECIALISMS

There are eight specialisms within engineering here, so you’ll be spoilt for choice. But across them all, some things definitely remain the same. We’re looking for hard working, passionate problem-solvers, who love working in a team and are as excited by new technology and tools as we are. You’ll put safety at the heart of everything you do, just like us. And you’ll have a meticulous eye that ensures documenting, detailing and recording airworthiness is always the absolute best. We don’t compromise on cost, quality or safety, and neither will you.

  • Design and Structure

This team handles all damages, repairs and changes to the aircraft. Join them, and you’ll help to take care of the approved data and instructions for continued airworthiness within our AMOS engineering IT systems. As a structural specialist, you’ll also offer essential standby cover for any out-of-office hours and critical operational problems. It’s crucial stuff.

Typical roles: Design and Structural Engineers

  • Maintenance Operation Control

Our Operations Control Centre runs 24/7, 365 days a year. With this team, you’ll help to provide network oversight to maintain aircraft airworthiness and control all maintenance related activities. Scheduled planning, material logistics, defect management, troubleshooting and AOG recovery, are all covered here.

Typical roles: Maintenance Control Officer, MOC Maintenance Planner, Material Planner, Liaison Engineer, Maintenance Operations Controller & Fleet Support Engineer

  • Base and Line Maintenance

This is the cutting-edge of aircraft maintenance, and you’ll get to use the most innovative methods and technologies. Within our maintenance teams, we have fantastic opportunities for people who, like us, champion safety above everything else.

Typical roles: Licensed Engineers, Licensed Mechanics, Mechanics, Stores Operatives, Aircraft Trimmer

  • Supply Chain

Join this team, and you could find yourself involved in anything from procuring spare parts to troubleshooting for fleet engineers and repetitive defect analysis. This team oversees stock availability for the whole network and looks after our aircraft modification programme. Handling over £190M of aircraft parts, and with an annual spend of more than £150M, the supply chain team manages the complete end-to-end process – from supplier selection to the delivery services.

Typical roles: Material Supply Planners, Buyers, Sales, Loans and Exchange Specialist and Supplier Managers

  • Fleet Technical Management

This team manages the airworthiness lifecycle of each aircraft, from its induction into easyJet until it exits our fleet. Made up of Airworthiness Records, Airworthiness Review Certificates, Fleet Engineering and Maintenance Planning, you’ll get to work on smart management of aircraft technical records, to ensure regulatory compliance and the smooth transition of records to the lessor when the aircraft leaves us.

Typical roles: Fleet Engineers, Records Controllers, Base Maintenance Planners, Maintenance Programme Engineers

  • Powerplant

The Powerplant team is home to our engine experts. They look after the on-wing (operational) and off-wing (repair and overhaul) of all engines on our Airbus aircraft.

Typical roles: Powerplant Engineer, Assistant Powerplant Engineer

  • Transitions

Our Transitions team and network of fleet engineers work closely with other engineering, procurement and subcontracted maintenance and repair organisations, to project manage aircraft that are entering and departing our fleet.

Typical roles: Liaison Engineers, Fleet Transition Engineer

  • Aircraft Appearance

Looks do matter to us, but only when it comes to our aircraft. This team makes sure every aircraft is looking its best for our customers, so they can have the best possible flight.

Typical roles: Aircraft Appearance Planner and Aircraft Appearance Coordinator
